agreed.still wish Aprilia would put their V4 into a capo. otherwise this is the ultimate ADV, starbucks bike.
Because? I was thinking it made less sense as bikes were no longer allowed to race but I'm not sure an MTS is the ideal form factor to race pikes peak anyway.Too soon, seeing the Pikes Peak branding is making me upset

Because Carlin Dunne died at Pikes Peak racing a MTS just 2 years ago. That's the reason motorcycles were banned from PP shortly after.
As for being the right form factor, Dunne won at Pikes Peak in 2018 on a MTS. Before his crash, he was set to demolish the current record by 12 seconds.
If anything, Ducati should have come out with a Pikes Peak version of the Streetfighter. But wasn't that what Dunne crashed on, in which case that will probably/hopefully never happen.

Haha, when paying $500+ a month even when it's snowing for eight years, I think you'll catch on that your toy was a little expensive.dat financing life
You'll never realize you're paying for a 40k bike.
I was really hoping they would come out with a tribute Carlin Dunne livery on the streetfighter. It's a much modded S1000XR for me until Ducati can get the mpg up on that V4. When they do I'll buy one.
I’m leaning towards that as well…It's a much modded S1000XR for me until Ducati can get the mpg up on that V4. When they do I'll buy one.
