you need to bare in mind, some asian markets you cant import or register a bike bigger than a 250/300. And there are a million people riding motorbikes. In one city. HD cares about the American market because it feeds the illusion of successful people living the dream. Which Asians love. Selling in emerging markets is where the money will be going forward.

Also I am sure the idea of owning a Harley Davidson has some appeal in countries like India. Bike American brand at a much more affordable price.
