I completely agree with the previous replies about getting a Ninja 250 or CBR 250, rather than the CBR 125. I bought one in the spring a couple of years ago, and sold it that same year. In hindsight, a 250 would have offered more flexibility and saved a lot of buying and selling hassle.
When making your decision, consider where you will be riding and the difference in cost for insurance. Not sure if there is a big difference between the 125 and the 250, probably not.
Personally, I would buy a used bike that is a couple of years old.
