Yaaaaay another female. Welcome and ride safe when you get your bike. Exciting times!
The course at humber was excellent, highly recommend it!!
Pointers "LOOK WHERE YOU WANT TO GO!!!" you will be amazed at how you ride the bike with your eyes and where you look is where the bike goes.. especially helpful for going around sharp turns,and curves!! Push steering is alot of FUN and dont be afraid to get low... just add some throttle and ur good to go!! soo fun!!
- Also pick a bike with straight handle bars. - you will know what i mean when you see the bikes.
The bikes are older, yamaha viragos (cruiser style not sport), they are about 250lbs, small and comfortable and easy to learn on...
You spend the first few hours just getting comfortable with the basics then its pretty much on the bikes the entire time.... you learn alot!
Everyone is on the same exact bike, provided by humber.

Yeah i'm excited about it.
Wasn't sure about the bikes though. Was hoping there were some sports bike to try out. But oh well.
Hopefully the weather is good that weekend.
Were there places to go grab some lunch around there? Do you get enough time to get lunch or should i take something from home?
We had rain all day on the second day.. if it calls for rain bring rain gear or you will be very cold and uncomfortable... You will be surprised at how well a bike can handle in the rain really cool to experience although not as fun as being dry LOL. you get 2 small 15 min breaks and 1hour for lunch. there is a coffee truck there for your breaks and aloth of food places close by.. you will get all the information there its very cool and relaxing... everyone is new and friendly, and the instructors are awesome!
No, we just got to ride the bikes back to the school, but we mainly stayed in the parking lot...
