On a side note... so many Markham riders and I never see any get togethers and rides like the Brampton, Mississauga, Newmarket, Woodbridge peeps do. Why dat?

Hi and welcome.

I love your "I'll show them" attitude - Aries?

Cool, more markham riders.

I think is time to setup a ride for the markham group =P

Hey Everyone

I got my M1 on my Birthday in March because some meat heads at work said that Women cant ride motorcycles (so I had to prove them wrong) < Any advice any one wants to provide me is welcome:cool:

Advice: Don't ride because you had to prove some people wrong, this kind of attitude usually on a bike gets people killed or hurt really bad, i thought men had ego issues, not women lol...not limited to, but you should want to ride because it's something your inner desire must do, or you always dreamt of doing, its a self thing, not trying to prove anyone or anything otherwise with it, people who usually fall prey to such pressure are not self confident, are always working on proving others wrong and not improving yourself from others, happiness lies in what you want to do, not whats circumstances make you do.lol this goes for trying to prove to your guy friends you can do a premature wheelie etc!

Glad you are into riding now though, even though it sounds you got into it with a wrong intention you heart is of good intention for riding now, just remember, when it comes to bikes keep it safe...no ego's. & welcome... have fun...riding bikes is a good addiction!

Hi!

I just passed my M1 exit two weeks ago. Congrats on the sweet bike :)!

We ladies can ride just fine, vertically challenged or not, lol. I ride a 2006 tw200...for now.

There is tons of great information, and every morning the antics in here makes my transit commute into downtown a bit less painfull!

I'm in around Ajax, and stick to the quieter roads north of Rossland. Lovely farm country up there :)
