That's misleading info. Depends on the flavor.

His other post was dead on though. Remember to relax and have fun. You'll learn easier that way.

I assume you are going for your M1 exit. I also assume you are doing this through the school. That’s awesome. They get riders better then some of the MTO idiots I’ve dealt with. I hope I get some one decent on June 2nd for my m2 Exit. :S. Any way, my advice for the m1 exit is read the book. I don't know if people agree with that but it helped me. Also i found the hardest part is the start, where you ride through the cones at slow speeds. If you put your foot down once or twice you will not fail. Remember that. My first time I was an idiot, no practice, no anything (other then street rides.) Also I had a loose throttle cable (it was actually attached with zip ties) which helped (not the soul reason) me in dumping my bike on my first m1 exit. I also thought if i put my foot down once i would fail. Granted if on every turn you put your foot down, well that’s not good. Other then that, relax. Don't get worked up. Its pretty easy actually. If you think you need extra practice on slow speed control, go to an empty parking lot (this is what I did) and practice half turns while going through the parking lines. If you can complete a half figure eight while keeping the bike with in the lines, you will have no problems with the cones. Once you do that I think its just a pull out from where ever, make a lane change, make a left turn, make a right turn loop around and park the bike :) EASY! And as every one has said, take your time before you go for a group ride. I found it a little stressful at first. As some people would take turns slower then i liked, and some people would just take off, and i didn't have the skill to keep up. Don't EVER do anything your not comfortable with.

Welcome to the forum and good luck on your test!

Don't lump all of us males into that category. I take all advice and input about this from everyone and make my own decisions and choices from there. It's always better to get information from experienced people, it helps you learn things you might not know and gives you more insight into things.

I appreciate advice from people, whether it's good or bad, because not one person has all the knowledge.

Personally not a big deal, but it makes me selective with people I help.

Welcome!

If you ever want to ride, my girlfriend and I live in Mississauga and ride on weekends around the area. She's got a Ninja 250 and I have a GSX-R 600.

Ride safe.
