New cbr600rr

they make bad street bikes
My biggest potential ticket was on a 600rr on a Honda demo ride in pre-172 days. Five of us were more than 100 over when we passed an oncoming cop. He thankfully didn't turn.

I didn't like the bike at legal speeds. It didn't wake up until you were cooking and it was jerky and snatchy at lower speeds. A sprocket change to lower speed in each gear would help that some. I could definitely see the appeal as a track toy where you can wring its neck.

That depends on individual preferences. Sport bikes are not great for cross country long trips but they're fine for back roads. Not everyone wants tall, squishy, and vague!
If only I had space for a trailer! (seriously, if anyone has those flipup bike trailers for under a grand DM me)

If you're willing to make a trip across the border, these things work well and can be leaned up vertically against the garage wall without folding. Apparently you can also get one on this side of the border if you want to spend double.

Mine has 3/4" plywood for a deck. To have enough room for a bike, the plywood extends up onto the neck of the trailer almost to the coupler in a V shape, and extends past the rear frame rail by about a foot or so. The rear wheel of most bikes ends up sitting nearly on the rear frame rail, and the weight distribution to get a good tongue weight is perfect.
