Congrats on the new-to-you bike.
There is one of these waiting somewhere out there for me in the future. I know I will find my soul mate one day.
Where did you get it from? I have a friend who traded one in with about 7k on the odometer. Same color scheme.

Very controversial topic amongst the Tracer owners.
I also think that it looks much better with the beak.

I picked it up from Inglis Cycle Center in London with 10k on it. Previous owner really liked it and traded it on a 2021.
I shouldn't say this out loud in 2021 but I love playing a wheelie out, I should get along with this bike just fine.

I saw the ad for this bike from that dealer a few times.
Aesthetically, I think the 2018-2020 models are better looking than the 2021. However the 2021 does come with more bells and whistles, of course at a premium $$$$.
I also hear that the pre-2018 models where even easier to wheelie due to the shorter wheelbase.
I like the looks of them as well. However, beaks on ADV bikes are purely ornamental, especially if they already have a front hugger.
At least with the 790/890 Adventure R, the front fender is actually serving a purpose:

the GT models were always good, better suspension, heated grips, quickshifter, cruise control, bags

Worth the upgrade from a base more to the GT for sure.
But the 2021 price is another 3K on top of the 2020 price.
The side bags on the 2021 should fit a full face helmet (but I cannot confirm)

yeah the 2021 gets electronic suspension, IMU, bi-directional quickshifter, and the slightly bigger engine, but at that price its no longer the value option and is competing with some big fish

I still have the seat Concepts seat kit, an AXP skidplate, t7 rally seat joining kit, and a t7 rally sidestand switch delete kit.Congrats! Sweet ride

Not much. The second photo is with the MRA Sport screen I had on my 2019. Much cleaner air...less buffeting.
