Netflix?

If you don't want to wire your laptop to the TV with HDMI like mentioned above, and if you don't already have a media player connected (ie ps3, xbox, wdtv live, etc) your only other option would be something like WiDi/WiHD:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WiDi

Intel Wireless Display, most commonly known as WiDi, is a wireless display standard developed by Intel, based on the existing Wi-Fi standard. It allows a portable device or computer to send up to 1080p HD video and 5.1 surround sound to a compatible display wirelessly.

WiHD is an option with Alienware laptops, here's a video showing it in action:

I wirelessly watch downloaded files on my pc hard drive on my box 360. It's awesome

I don't think you can save these Hulu or Netflix US streams though. I need something to wirelessly mirror my laptop screen preferably in HD. Will look into the other suggestions.

signed up yesterday and figured got the U.S> netflix on all our computers/browsers at home..... PS3 is next.

Does anyone know if, after changing the DNS values on the ps3/console, I have to update/keep replacing them? (do they expire/change?).

The canadian one is pretty good for someone who never had it, years and years worth of Top Gear will have my attention for a while.

Media hint worked for the internet browsers.

Unblockus + netfix US is my service works well. Make sure you sign up as a us account us the 3 numbers from your postal code + 00 for a zip code for billing. Start your un-blockus.com first and the change your router setting to the ones you get from them. It then works on any device in your house.

This is the single best post in here.

I signed up for regular Canadian Netflix a couple of days ago. Thought the content is good enough for 8 bucks, especially now that I have Netflix-enabled devices everywhere around the house (and pockets). But then I saw this, so I want more content. Tried unblock-us, set it up at the router and all devices inherited the DNS from the router, and were playing the US version. However, the option "add to my list" was not there, because my account was Canadian. So, I cancelled it...but they'll delete it after 1 month...I wanna use my main email address, and I can't wait! So I changed the email address to some other secondary email I have, and registered a US account with my "good" email. Used my mastercard with the 3 digits + 00, seemed to have worked. I always thought I need to call the bank and enable that kind of ZIP code on my card, but I never did before, I wonder how it worked. Anyway, I'm all set now. Thanks! And yeah, it's late, that's a very long post without saying much, but I type really fast.

a bit off topic, but this also works if you are in the US and want to buy gas where at the pump and it wants your zip code. When we went to Florida a few years ago, didnt know this and it was a pain in the rear having to go in to pay, especially when you have to pay before you pump and dont know how much you will take

Yes, I know, but I was in California last September, and the gas pump didn't accept my card with the 3 digits + 00. At that time I thought its something that has to be "enabled" on the account by calling the bank, though I never bothered. That's why I was surprised to see it work with Netflix.
