Your post reminds me how important it is to get EVERYTHING in writing and to NEVER accept another persons (or business) guarantee/description. Unfortunately it's still largely "buyer beware" out there and once they have your money selective memory comes into play. As far as the term agreed upon, that should have been on your quote, maybe that was them trying to screw you over, maybe it was an honest mistake. As far as conditon of the vehicle, unless new (and even then I'd confirm myself) it's up to you to make sure it's in the condition they say, one persons perfect is another person's piece of crap.
Anyway, sorry you had a bad experience.
