Need to vent - Worst day of my life

Yeah, the day before I even thought to myself "I should probably bring spare contacts because it's been almost 30 days since I last changed them".

For the girl thing, I can't really argue back because she's more or less right on what she was yelling at me about: spending too much time on work, business, and bike, and not enough on her.

This bitching is older than the chicken/egg argument. tell her to find an unemployed hippie with no hobbies. that sounds like what she wants.

Sounds like she's already cheated on you.

So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life.

Clutch cable is a pain when it breaks, but it's an easy fix - don't sweat it. So easy that I wouldn't worry about towing it if you can get the clutch cable fast enough, just replace it wherever the bike is.

Waiting for parts from Suzuki now. Wasn't sure where else to get clutch cables (the ones I found at the nearest store, Cycle World Superstore, were expensive).

#1. Get up late.

Seriously, **** my life today.

This is the worst day of your life? Who are you, Prince Harry?

Don't worry, you'll have days that will make you wish for this one.

#1. Get up late. Get an alarm

#2. GF bitches at me for hours. Dump the *****

#3. Arrive at work late. See solution #1

#4. Contact breaks during my shift (my eyes are -10 and -9 with heavy astigmatism). Get laser eye surgery

#5. Rode back with one eye covered to new contacts (40KM). See solution #4

#6. Random bolt comes off my bike and scares me ******** Buy a new bike (2011 Gixxers are sick)

#7. Ride back after realizing the bolt wasn't that important (one of the bolts to hold the front fairing in) to work. That sounds not to bad

#8. The finale: clutch cable breaks on my way back home. See solution #6

Seriously, **** my life today. Your day is fixed, you are welcome

My bike has a small toolkit that came with it that's stored under the seat - I keep a fresh, unopened pair of contact lenses in there just for situations like this.

Look on the bright side, at least you're still alive. If you're in good health and can type this - chin up. Life ain't so bad.

I bought used, one of the previous owners (I am 5th) lost it.
