NEED SOME HELP PLEASE!! (loading/unloading a bike from a pickup)

I would love to help but I'm not done work until 5:00pm and I'm in Toronto. :(

If it was a weekend I'd ride out and help.

I might be able to help you in Uxbridge. I'll let you know for sure soon, well at least before you leave Guelph.

I just loaded a bike on a pick up by myself. I backed the truck in a parking spot which had a high grade behind it. Tail gate down, rode/pushed bike on.

I can lend you my ramps I guess - I'm in Waterloo.
Just give me a deposit and I'll give it back when you return the ramp.
I loaded up my bike by myself a couple weeks ago.. it's not that hard -- worst part is getting it straight up and down when tightening the ratchet straps.

I don't understand what you need help with? For a few bucks you can make a ramp with a 2x6 and eye hook to strap the ramp to the truck. It sounded like in the OP that you had more than one person with you, so a ramp would be a joke to use. If you're by yourself, it would be more difficult, but still completely do-able.

katatonic, my offer wasn't intended on being empty, sorry I couldn't send you a note prior to now I had some family things that had to be dealt with.
