Need information for a carburetor for an sv650

It's a matter of testing components out. There is a process to figure out whats going wrong. If the stator is putting out enough voltage and the rectifier has passed the diode test. It could be a wiring issue.

Stuff needs to come apart / tested and inspected, Internet forum will only get you so far.

See i don't want to mess to much with the wiring since my experience in this field falls short but i can't think of what else could be wrong with it if it's not the battery or regulator/rectifier (both have just been replaced). I also don't want to spend a ridiculous amount of money to figure this out..

Well looks like I'm going to read threw my manual again and see if i can figure it out.. I'm going to try to figure out the wiring because i think you maybe right about the wiring being the problem.

Wish me luck :)

Btw thanks NealT for the link.

No problem, I figured it might give some structure for your analysis that's easily navigable. Hope you get it sorted out and back on the road soon.

A good first step would be to measure voltage across the battery terminals at idle, and at different RPM ranges.
