I think the same can be said for humans.I find it disturbing how prevalent cancer has become among cats and dogs. I don't remember it being very common when I was younger.
That's actually a simple one we live much longer now and have better diagnostics. The longer you live the more time cancer has to form. Same is probably true for pets or at least it is easier to diagnose when before no one knew the reason.I think the same can be said for humans.
