My Ego probably hurts more than anything else right now

I think your elbows & shoulders saved it

No insult but those things are garbage.

I have the same tires as op & I don't see how you can blame it on cold tires unless you were going "balls out" on the first 2 mins

Does he have a hot sister?

Forearm and leg actually :( I'm actually a little surprised, the places I have the least protection in general took the most force/sliding.

I'm going by what I remember, cause unfortunately I hadn't attached my ROAM2 to my new helmet. I remember being in first gear, cutting the turn a little tight at about 30-40km/h, my form was good, I was leaning as normal (kissing the mirror) 100% positive I didn't touch either brake or clutch, maybe I rolled on or off throttle too early if you think there's no chance the tire just slipped (which is what it looks like on the road).

Now that it's out there, pics or shens :p

Just a hot wife.
Surprisingly I have morals. A man's wife is off limits for me.

Now back to original question...

How is it possible to bin it at 30-40? I can't wrap my head around this

I'm being serious

a cold tire will slip pretty badly without much lean at all. that's how i got my first highside

Nice, always thought Kellen was a girl lol.

I've never had a case of the cold tires before :-/. I hammer my busa's throttle around the first corners soon as I take it out of the driveway and never had a slip problem. Always just credited the Diablo Corsas.

^ Take it easy man, my first crash was due to cold (race) tires.
First corner out of my house, doing 30-40 kmh and the bike just slipped from underneath me.
It happens.

I had the Dunlop D208's (iirc). Utter crap. It was also 4 degrees C outside at the crack o' dawn.
