Just noticed this morning my bike was missing from my condo parking, i live in the waterloo area near the University. Its a 2004 CBR 1000RR with an HM Plant kit on it.

3 guys came in a truck with a trailer and loaded it up. Cameras caught them, I have security making me a copy of the video and will post it once I get it.

Please keep your eye out for anyone selling this bike. The last 6 numbers of the VIN are 000383.

The Video:
The guys came the night before to scope it out:

Sorry for your loss. Too many bikes being stolen this year already. We are gonna have to all buy Dobermans and keep them by our bikes at night lol

You don't normally hear a lot about bikes being stolen in the KW area. Sucks, hope you have insurance, then at least you can just get a new ride.

as bikers we need to find these people that steal our bikes and break their damn legs or knees to teach them a lesson!

Is this the crashed bike?

Hi guys. Crashed the bike badly today. Its a goner for sure (engine oil was leaking from the engine!). Was my fault. No one else involved.

Thank God I have full comprehensive coverage from State Farm insurance. Will call them tmrw and deal with the entire claims process. My question is, how much of an insurance hike can I expect given my situation?

Btw, I do not intend on buying another bike this season. Will cancel my bike insurance now, but continue my auto insurance with them.

Brother Kingsha, I feel for you man - but these things are going to happen.
I hope you get your bike back but you must steel yourself to the thought that you might never see it again.
All the little details, the personal things that you did plus accessories etc... gone.
But you know, that's how it goes...
Alas.

My bike !!!!! DUDE!! That blows!!
I hope you insured it.

Geez its still so fresh that its still my avatar.
Sorry to hear.

Can't believe it was stolen from underground condo in KW considering I had it for a year in an underground condo in scarborough.

I don't have insurance on mine's. With the amount of mileage on mine's, the thieves would be horribly disappointed.
Plus, might be a new excuse for me to get a new one

Back on topic, May the thieves rot in hell

- thats what i did. great alarm system covers all the cars, the house, and the bike. lol

OP sorry for your loss

A few bikes a week are being stolen, this sucks.

Glad I live in a very safe neighborhood with my bike not visible from any parts of the road (driveway goes upbehind the house, cars in front blocking view and a public park/other houses surrounding it.)
Not to mention, neighbors with dogs that bark at anything that moves in the night.

also: it helps to have a crappy bike that no one wants to steal, lol.

Just a reminder to you guys, in apartments and condos, PLEASE figure out a way to save your investment. Invest in some sort of alarm/locks and possibly reconsider the location you are storing your bike at.

Its really frustrating losing something so valuable all of the sudden.
