Just pick this up today. So far

-feel very small.
-seat height is an inch higher so i am tip toes (only 1.65)
-it is just so light and feel like i am riding dirt bike.
-suspensions, brakes, gear seem better than the sv
-very responsive and so eager to go fast

Really really nice looking bike. You mentioned the suspension and brakes....your going to keep noticing new cool stuff to look at on that bike for the next year or so. Enjoy it!

nice bike
yes, I see Brembo brakes
not sure on the suspension
but I'll bet it's an upgrade over typical Japanese fare
and that exhaust, beautfica, and I bet it sounds even better!

Really nice bike. Will bring a lot of men coming over at the gas station, that's for sure. Good luck with that...

Did it wheelie yet? Planned or otherwise

The motor actually spins reverse to normal so that it is less prone to wheelie, but what it actually does is launch you, is very cool.
... take the passenger pegs off and hang them on the wall unless you have an 80 pound girlfriend that can ride like a back pack. Bike looks better without them on.

Planning to do just that (remove the pegs) as i only ride by myself.

Congrats. I remember checking them out at Speedworx 2 years back, tried to get a friend to buy one but they were a touch too tall -- they are a work of art. Gotta love the sound and the triple side pipery.

Hope it treats you well.

Why did you decide to upgrade? That sv is the brand new one isn't it and the sv650 is just a great bike too. I love the styling of the sv you have.

I actually had a girl who wanted me to take her for a ride on mine and scare her, that was kinda weird.
