What folding trailer did you buy? I have been looking for a while now! Same dilemma, I have one bike ready to go, but next year I will need room to carry 3.Step 1…bigger trailer than a 4x8!

That is the same one that I was thinking of getting. Does it fold up nicely? Easy? Remember if you add metal to the ply it takes away from your usable weight!Bought this thing used

It's great for storage, and I'm slowly making it 'better'. I keep it stored on the side, and will be building up the side walls.
Also have a metal plate to put atop the plywood, but need to cut it down to size and 2 4x4 pieces so it'll fold properly.
Very very similar to the HF. Folds well. Make sure wire routing is thought out or folding it will rip wires out. Rolling around on the storage wheels isn't perfect but is adequate. Storage wheels and their angle iron frame will take a beating over time. That is the same one that I was thinking of getting. Does it fold up nicely? Easy? Folds up very easy actually. I'm smaller so it takes some effort, but I've figured out my method and it seems to work well (no broken fingers / injuries yet). That is the same one that I was thinking of getting. No one checks up on me either! They just assume I will always be fine!Folds up very easy actually. I'm smaller so it takes some effort, but I've figured out my method and it seems to work well (no broken fingers / injuries yet).
Takes about 4x2 space when up. I'll send a pic when I get home so you can see.
The metal floor is very light (maybe 20-30lbs?), and the sides I'll get quick release pins so they can easily be put on / off.

EDIT: To add to @GreyGhost's point, the casters are pretty garbage and I'll update them with time. But overall it rolls pretty well and is maneuverable. But I keep hitting the plate on things so it's bent...but that's all my fault for not paying attention.
BIGGEST issue I had is I folded it in half, and lifted it vertical without strapping the piece together. Thank God that my kids weren't behind the trailer when the back end came down hard.
Went back in the house:
Wife: what was that big crashing noise?
Me: trailer back fell over. You didn't think to come check on me if I'm still alive?
Wife: thought didn't cross my mind
Me: nice to know
MIL: what was that noise?
Me: you didn't think to come check? It's literally outside of your window!?
MIL: nope...you're fine.
That’s the plan. I may have some lying around the house. No one checks up on me either! They just assume I will always be fine!
Are you going to run anchor bolts through the plate?
When I flip the ass section on top, I run a piece of tiewire through the stake pockets to keep it together before I do anything else.BIGGEST issue I had is I folded it in half, and lifted it vertical without strapping the piece together. I’m strapping them with 2 1” straps. Was going to strap it to something standing up….but it’s steady and out of the way so we should be good and kids aren’t climbing it.When I flip the ass section on top, I run a piece of tiewire through the stake pockets to keep it together before I do anything else.
Plate takes a beating. Either attach it with zip ties so it can get out of it's own way or bend it so it doesn't hit as often.

Part of me wishes I kept my 'Trailer in a Bag'...but it was only single purpose and while it was nice to stow away...I effectively sold it and used the money to buy the folding trailer. More versatile, and more use out of it.I still need to put some screweyes or hooks in to chain mine to the garage wall, give it a paint job and check the tires.
Sadly, only one bike at a time.

I actually briefly toyed with the idea of selling this folding trailer...and buying a trailer in a bag again.Yep, we had a double trailer-in-a-bag and it could convert to a single as well.
Whenever we trailered somewhere, there was never any need to worry about where to store the trailer, it just broke down and went into the back of the SUV.
So versatile.
Nice, that is what i need, i already have a perfect spot for it! I wish i could have a larger trailer but there is just no where to park it. I had a beautiful enclosed aluminum trailer but 3 years ago the bylaw goof showed up and told me it was to tall. So it had to go!
