moving bike while turned off?

please forgive the newbie question, but i was wondering if there is anything wrong with moving your bike around while the ignition is off?
I park my bike at a storage facility due to living in an apartment and i have to walk the bike about 45 feet everytime i wanna ride, all of this without the ignition on since it is indoors and the manager will not allow the gas fumes to be running in his facility.

Just be careful on the turns because when you bike is off you do not have power steering.

Don't listen to these jackasses about power steering lol, funny but for someone that has very little bike knowledge this can be confusing. If the pic is your actual bike, I would suggest grabbing the little strip on the top of your rear seat, that will give you a lot more confidence when moving the bike

Sorry but I had to, having a crappy day at work and I just pictured you reading the post and thinking to yourself, hmm was it harder to turn, I wonder?? All kidding aside, I push my big scooter around my garage all the time to park it. Many moons ago when I was young and living at home I would turn my bike off a few hundred feet from my house and coast it in so I would not wake my parents up at 3 am, baffles out of course. But remember the cigarette lighter also does not work when the ignition is off.

no worries about the humour, i enjoyed it. especially while at work! I'm 32 and just started riding this spring after i passed my M2 course. I'm riding a used Ninja 250.
the reason i wanted to ask was because i did hear a low clicking sound when rolling the bike into it's spot

After a ride, that clicking is probably just the exhaust header cooling down.

I have the same noise, it's my knees after a long ride.

Keep moving it around with ignition OFF. You are contributing to our the clean air we breath and produce no noise. We are all proud of you.
