Not sure if this still works, but you can just download the trial version straight from the adobe website. It's basically the full version, you just need a keygen to unlock it.
Thanks for the links, I will give them a try and see how the quality is. I didnt mind movie maker and it was super easy but like I said the last movie I made looked like Sh1t when i played it back on my tv. I know it has a setting in moviemaker that is for playback with HD but it takes a hell of alota time to convert and isnt much better. I will fool around the the gopro setttings.
If you have a mac use iMovie, it is like $15. It is super easy to use and will prob handle your 1080p footage better than on a Windows system plus you don't have to use any stupid keygens or crack any .exe files (which will most likely give you some kind of virus or spyware anyways). If you want to do video compositing then yes Adobe After Effects is king but just plain editing iMovie rocks.
