So it likely leaks and burns oil, and has a timing chain that has a shorter life than a belt. Of course the chain is at the back.
As far as I can tell these "likely" problems mainly affected a few early models back in 2015 or so, and we're sorted out quickly.
For 2018 they brought out the second generation 2.7 with many improvements including even greater reliability and efficiency
I still stand by my words that this is a sweet powerplant and will do well in the Bronco
