Motul vs Repsol synthetic?

Gosh, we haven't had an oil thread in a while. They're both good oils.

What's this about synthetic? says the guy buying rotella dino by the 5 gallon pail......

I think I see where this is coming from - looks like F9 carries Repsol now, and it's reasonably priced. I'd try it, I'm cheap

I’ve used both repsol motosintetico and motul 5100.
Both are semi-synth if you can decipher their marketing bs. I’m also cheap.

Purely coincidental- I ran 4 changes of the repsol through my monster 796, then the clutch started slipping. The plates and pads looked fine so it was probably just old springs.

I’m superstitious however so I’m running the mogul now because it smells nice 😆

Repsol CANADA got sold last year to a Canadian company... nothing wrong with Repsol... nothing wrong with ANY spec oil.
bitzz now officially endorsing Rotella T4 with JASO-MA2 specification

I agree, the stuff smells amazing!
Have you taken a sip? Be honest!

Ah! I agree it is cool because it is red. I do like the fact that it is easier to see in the sight glass and it also allowed me to instantly tell that it was oil leaking from somewhere because of the colour!

Red is also the fastest colour, is it not?
