I pulled into the gas station and put my credit card into the reader. In my mirror I saw the guy stop at the pump behind me. I turned my body enough so I could make eye contact with him and waved (at this point I'm already filling my tank while sitting on my bike). He saw me, but didn't communicate anything back. About 30 seconds after I had waved, I heard him yelling "I don't want to pay inside, I said I don't want to pay inside". By now I was done filling my tank, and so was he. He started his bike, and while riding past me looked at me and said "Motherf*cker".

Confused, I went inside to the cash register and asked what had happened because if he had left without paying I was going to foot his bill so the owners wouldn't lose out. According to the people at the register, after I had waved and turned around, he aggressively stuck his middle finger at me while filling his tank. They didn't say anything about him not paying so I don't know who he was yelling at. Obviously nobody heard him call me a "motherf*cker" as he was riding out of the lot.

Guys like these give motorcyclists such bad names.

If you see this guy, do me a favour and sucker punch him.

What a jerkoff.

Great story, and a great lesson: waving to strangers is stupid.

What's this boys name? I'll have a talk with his mother.

Brings back memories of the good old days.

The fact you were willing to "foot his bill" so that the owners of this Shell Gasstation (whom are presumably starving, because nobody buys gas these days) don't lose out, makes this tale laughable. More so, you included a description of this guy as if you were filing a police report. Next, you ask us - most strangers to you - that to restore your lost honour, we should do a dishonourable and dirty thing such as sucker punch any rider who matches your description, risking criminal charges and possibly getting stabbed because this guy did not socially interact well.

We aren't anybodys personal army to command assaults on other riders for percieved insults. Don't give us a bad name.

LOL I wasn't expecting anybody to sucker punch this guy, nor did I actually seriously ask anybody for the favour. It was a way of blowing off a little steam in the usual manner people do online.

Don't take my story personally. It has nothing to do with you ;)

Why would you pay for someone else, especially a thief? I don't get the logic there. Just press the receipt button on the pump (always) and be on your way.

I know right?, Hey I'm for good Karma and being the best I can , but for a thief? apparently a thief with a displaced outlook on fellow meatsticks. Bah, he wasnt worth the wave anyway.

Hey I'll flip you the finger if you'll pay for my gas :).
All bull aside there are allot of ****bags out there that are just plain miserable. Who knows maybe he just lost his job or found out his wife was a cheating whore.

It's not always possible to judge what's going on with someone. When I lived in a condo I would often encounter this guy that I thought was the biggested jerk, turns out he was a nice guy, but had tourette syndrome.

Gas stations make much less than what it looks from the outside. Plus, the attendants get into trouble more than anyone after a theft.
If the OP is generous enough to fork out $10 worth gas for another rider for whatever reason, I think ppl should appreciate it for sharing the road with such quality people, instead of laughing at it.

After all, it's not about how much cash you have in your pocket, but how generous you feel with that cash. I have friends, who live in 10MIL+ houses, but wouldn't spare a penny for any sorts of situation like that.

Scarborough has many idiots. Some motorcyclists are idiots. Some people have bad days. Some people have psychological issues. Let it go and live your life happily.

just went to the gas station, gave guy a finger and he didn't pay for my gas...WTF?

The highlight for me was this guy actually considering paying for the gas of a dude who just gave him the finger and called him a motherFer...

That's surreal.

you wipped that bonjovi vid a little to fast monkey, anything you wanna let us know?

Puuhlease, yea theres no money in owning a gas station....thats why they are EVERYWHERE...cuz u know, entrepreneurs love making little to no profit.

Now all you have to do is rewrite your post on a police report and have the cops charge buddy for being a jerk...
