Motorcyclist dies in crash with truck in Vaughan

God damn. RIP. How ****ed up is it that you can be the best rider in the world and all it takes is for some drunk driving POS to take you out without warning. I hope that wasnt the case in the scene i just witnessed, what a terrible way to go.

You guys ever question riding after things like this? I've never questioned riding after close to a decade, until having just seen the accident aftermath of a motorcyclist up close.

I am what you guys call a cager, have always been. I'm doing my M2 course next week, have always wanted to ride a bike.

Still amazes me that impaired driving causing death doesn't pull more prison time, if any.
 
Hello Fellow Riders, I am a family member and friend of the fallen rider. I wanted to Thank You all for these posts, he was always on these forums learning about tips on riding and sport bikes. He had a passion for riding, so much that even after a severe accident he still got back and rode years after recovering, unfortunately he didn't survive this one. He made everyone around him smile no matter the situation and was a major support to his family and friends. His memories and laughter will live on through his family and friends forever.

As for the drunken driver, your selfishness, ignorance, carelessness, has claimed the life of a loved Father, Husband, Son, Brother, Uncle, Role Model, Friend, and hurt thousands of people for the rest of our lives.

Thanks again to everyone here for their support.

hope the drunk POS rots in prison for the next several years....

But I fear our "justice" system may let us down.
