Peter was a relative. I never got to know him as well as I'd have liked. I haven't ridden since my own accident (also left-turning car, destroyed bike, I was "lucky") in 2010, which I've only just realized, happened on his birthday (had wished him happy birthday earlier that day!) I have always striven to be the safest rider I can be and I will continue, but I know, doubly so, bad things happen... Thank you for letting me post here; no one else in the immediate family rides. RIP Peter.
