Never seen anything like that...interesting, but probably somewhere in the US where the riding season is a little longer - not sure a car wash around here would consider that a justifiable investment considering it would sit unused for at least 4-6 months a year.
The mind boggles as to why would the wash offer a spray wax option for motorcycles in the first place. It's like dressing your tires; not recommended if you want to stay upright.
AHAHAHHAHAHA . i shouldnt laugh but he was all like composed in his speech about the paint and what not, and you know... what happens a second later. CRASH. Alright, i feel like armor alling my tires now. Just to get that same feeling.
ANd yeah there wouldnt be any moto specific car wash for such a small moto demographic im pretty sure
having said that when I used to ride alot in cold weather and have salt spray acumulate on the bike I have taken it to the car wash self wash stations. I just use the soap and spray function, never tried wax. I just used a towel to dry the seat and control and lights and then ride away. the rest will get air blasted away by the time i get home.

As a guy who worked in the car-wash industry for a short time; I'd like to suggest that when you start your wash, you should spray the wand away from your bike for about 5-10 seconds when you begin.
The last selection of the previous user (which could be the wax setting) will still be in the hoses and feeder lines for your wand.
Sad ending, he's OK, but bike likely rashed up a bit.
Neat idea (minus the spray wax.........) I've used a power washer a few times for a preliminary clean if the bike is filthy. Keep it on a low setting and/or a safe distance from the bike and avoid direct shots at wheel bearing areas, electrical components etc..... Finish off with shammy to dry.

When I got my first bike, a GSXR600, I washed that baby every time I rode it, and I rode it hard. Once, after washing my Car and Bike together, I thought it would be a great idea to put on Tire Shine around the walls of my bike.
Lucky for me, I was out posing at the local Timmy's and got berated by more experienced riders. Learned my lesson for sure... I didn't even think of the consequences. Young and dumb.
In the good 'ol US of A I'm sure the car wash owner will get sued for it some day after someone else does the same thing as this guy did. That's he way it works down there, everything is someone else's fault, right?
