It was a MotoCzysz C1, not a Roehr 1250. But yes, the scene was disappointing.
Most motorcycle scenes in movies are pretty lame. I agree with whoever said that the scene in MI 2 was gay....especially when they lept into the air for that massive bro-hug. And Top Gun is only passable to me because I have a soft spot for that movie haha.
Salt was pretty sweet, though. So was the motorcycle babe in Fast Five. Also, and this isn't a movie, but since someone mentioned Long Way Around, the food network had this show with Alton Brown and his friends travelling across the U.S on motorcycles and stopping off at diners. I forget the name, but that was pretty awesome too.

Top Gun and T2 totally made me want to ride motorcycles when I was a kid. Maybe that's why I can't make up my mind which type of ride I want.

Wearing my Akira shirt today. Kaneda has an awesome bike in that movie, and it is very influential, a lot of companies have made similar replica prototypes just for the hell of it.

DUDE!!! I think I just found where my huge obsession with MX started! I am positive I saw this movie as a kid!
Hard to tell, because my first word was bike. Got my first ride at the age of 3 on my mom's uncle's honda CB750, first dirt bike I sat on was Leno Zecca's 1988 kx 250.
Will now watch this movie after the game!

I was surprised at how good of a story it was and how well Hopkins his character.
Guys... I actually enjoyed Dhoom (yeah, the bike scenes were cheesy) and found it to be a pretty good PG action-comedy.. Am I a sicko??? :shock:
