Motorcycle Drive In

Saw an older couple with their 2 cruisers last year up in Oro. I was kind of jealous until the bugs came out for the feeding frenzy. That couple was constantly using bug spray.

Would be fun to relax and watch a movie, but not sure how well it would work. Then again, lots of people open the back of the van up or sit in their truck beds.

If you do it, make sure to post up a few pics!

I haven't been to a drive-in in years and did not realize there were any around. Sort of off topic I read the warnings for a couple of the flicks currently playing "tobacco use" and "fear of adulthood".

I mean seriously?

I have a pathological fear of adulthood.

What's the fun watching movies like that, either in car or bike, wouldn't you guys rather sit on a comfy chair with air conditioning, and watch it in cinema!? Who would want the sound coming from fm!?

I hate cinemas. Listening to some 220lb whale grazing down her third tub of hot buttered is not entertainment.

I always felt the same way, until I tried the VIP theatre in Etobicoke. Yes it costs more money, $25 for a movie to be exact but it is amazing. Huge seats, no kids because they serve alcohol, real food served to your seat by a team of servers. Amazing.

It's like camping. Why sleep outside when you can sleep inside? Besides, I need some new places to look and act cool on my bike.

I've only gone in my car and only to Guelph. Generally you need to show up super early unless it's supposed to rain. When they predict rain and it doesn't happen, that's the best.

Go to the drive in often but don't see any bikes and don't see any appeal to ride one out.

The only time I ever want to sit around my my for a duration longer than 10 minutes and not doing anything with it, is in the garage, in the winter, having a pint.

Otherwise, ride it!

On a separate note, the drive in is great for spending some intimate time with your partner, wife, girlfriend or neighbour. Lol.

I'm just an old out of touch middle age hot sexy dad so take this idea with a grain of salt. I was planning to take my kids to a drive in movie this summer when it occurred to me. Have the cool kids on GTAM ever took their bikes to the Drive In? Do they even allow bikes? Most smartphones & newer ipods have FM tuners so hearing the movie isn't an issue. It also wouldn't be the first time I've strapped a lawn chair on the back of my bike for a party. Thoughts?

To funny... I was at oakville drive in last weekend with my son and as I sat there thought to myself... hhmmm wonder if I can take my bike lmao :D I'm sure you are allowed as long as you have something to hear the movies..
Lets set up a Biker drive in night lol

I can see there faces now... :lmao:thinking WTF.....

Cheers

I would go on my bike if I could, but I would need a lawn chair and an FM radio.

We went to the Starlite in Hamilton a yr ago, with cushions in the box of our pickup...It was great. Me, wifey, the kids...all sprawled out like the truck box was our living room floor watching the movies.
