Motorcycle Drive In

I'm just an old out of touch middle age hot sexy dad so take this idea with a grain of salt. I was planning to take my kids to a drive in movie this summer when it occurred to me. Have the cool kids on GTAM ever took their bikes to the Drive In? Do they even allow bikes? Most smartphones & newer ipods have FM tuners so hearing the movie isn't an issue. It also wouldn't be the first time I've strapped a lawn chair on the back of my bike for a party. Thoughts?

Drive-in theatre sounds pretty cool. I have never been. Where is the closest one to the GTA?

It has its days when the line up will be down to Upper Middle and up to Dundas. Honestly, haven't been in 5 or 6 years though.
Probably on a weekend? Thinking of heading down during the week.

I won't derail this thread any further, sorry the hijack Keith.

Went to the 5 Drive In (Oakville) about two weeks ago on a Friday, showed up an hour before the movies started and only had to wait for 3 cars there was barely any waiting, so if you want a good spot going 1-1.5 hours before the movies start is always a good idea. Long weekends and all nighters are a different story completely.

The mustang drive in (Guelph) is quite busy mostly because of its size. If you don't want to be parked up on a hill behind the snack shack go early.

I have never seen a bike at the 5 drive in but there was a group of cruisers at the mustang last year. So I would think they would let you in to any of them.

Good to see another company bought this one and saved it, last I heard it was closing down.

They did a really good job on the renos to. Went digital iirc.

Drive in movies are pretty much the only way I watch movies in theaters. Im a smoker so being able to have a smoke during the movie is a bonus. I haven't been in a while though.

I don't know about your kids op but my 7year old niece LOVES the drive in.

Yup. We used to go to the old North York drive-in quite a bit. Was saddened to hear it was closing, and didn't realize it had been saved. The "No outside food" policy is a bit of a bummer......although I do understand the motivation behind it. I recall having a full home-cooked BBQ steak dinner in the vehicle on one occasion.

how does one have sex on a motorcycle in a drive in?

Starlite Hamilton is huge, and bizarre. Most of Hamilton is bizarre.

I haven't been to a drive-in in years and did not realize there were any around. Sort of off topic I read the warnings for a couple of the flicks currently playing "tobacco use" and "fear of adulthood".

I mean seriously?
