Hi just curious who here subscribes to MotoGP video pass and their opinion of whether it's worth it (or trying to catch it on Speed is the preferred method of following the sport).

Do they actually stream the race?

Are there full archives of the previous races? (I missed the last 2, so hoping to catch up)

I use to, but more recently I have just watched things on Speed.... and even more recently I stopped having cable, so I stream it from the net (not the motogp site). The only problem is that you never know what language you are going to get.

I just get a torrent and play it on the computer. I use VUZE to download the stuff. Currently downloading the Assen race. Usually takes about 1/2 hour to download, and it is always from the BBC speed channel.

Yes it is definitely worth it. MotoGP.com streams not only the races but also the free practices, qualifying sessions and warm-ups, all of which are archived shortly after the live event. Sure you could get by downloading torrents (not live) or watching live streams elsewhere but they just don't compare.

But to watch the live streams you NEED to
BUY a pass first.

My way is completely free.

Not necessarily, and whether you pay for a MotoGP.com video pass or not, it's still worth it. But you're living in the past man! I just finished watching Moto2 QP @ Mugello while you're downloading the last race event. :p

+1 on subscribing to the Moto GP pass.

It's not a lot of money for the year if you're passionate about the sport. Lots of good videos to see , and no need to look for and download races.

It's worth it in my opinion, I travel throughout Canada for my job and I have found myself in different cities, at the local Starbucks, watching the race. Plus, no commercials, lots of additional videos and interviews. It's well worth the money.

what tracker are you using?

I have purchased the MotoGP pass. It's great, if you are an enthousiast, since you get to watch tons of footage/highlights/qualifying/free praccy/ past races and seasons. But if you simply enjoy watching races, and nothing else, then you're much better off watching them online (illegally).

Last time I looked into it, it seemed that you can only stream the videos, you can't actually download them. Is this correct?

My downloads would go through the roof if I had to stream every time I wanted to watch something as sometimes, I like to watch events more than once.

I bought the video-pass two days ago. I just got in to MotoGP this season. After seeing all the races up until now I wanted to see last years season.

Unfortunately after watching race one of '10, race two would not play entirely. It freezes after getting some annoying 'motogp official website' screensaver. I'm guessing there is some sort of stream-limit to motogp.com which they did not mention when purchasing the video-pass.

Does anyone else recon this problem?
