I hope after riding as injured he was that he gets one more season; I doubt he'll ever get a shot at the championship at this point, but I'd really like to believe that HRC wants Mir on that bike so maybe keeping their options open is best. No one else currently on the grid, including Crashlow, can be as consistently in the points on an HRC. And that's what they need in a 2nd rider.

Yeah boring GP race this weekend, and this is what I think happens when you take Marc out of the equation in a GP, something to keep in mind when talking about race bans; for all the absurdity of Argentina it really was a much better spectacle. I really hope we don't see something like this again as I honestly think given the pace of the HRC it can be a common sight this year;even when they stripped his pole position he didn't get fazed at all.

But this JLO 'lead from the start' race strategy is something best left to him and not something to be encouraged by race direction.

Mav seems to be getting the Yamaha sorted, so for our sake I hope he gets competitive again soon, otherwise I really think this year's season will be rather bland if this continues.

Mir's race in Moto2 was rather good; I think had he not been bumped off like that he could have have been in for this first win. He wasn't far off a podium, either. Alex looked in good form, but his tire management wasn't there in the closing laps. Still haven't seen Moto3, surprisingly...

Only the Repsol boys and Crutchlow have the factory spec bike. The others have a non-factory spec bike - likely the end of '17 bike but there's nothing official stating it.

I give Ducati credit for being public on which bikes which teams are using.

Ducati had been proven to be competitive again. They paid him an *** ton of money. He was always in Rossi's shadow at Yamaha, even when he was champion.

Not surprising he went to Duc. Not really that bad of a move. Some riders get on with that bike, and some don't. He clearly doesn't.

I don't like him and never have but even I would like to see him get a win on it just to prove he can.

Syarin is trying to get a deal to ride a satellite yamaha in 2019.

i think it will be at least a year before he gets close to a win on the ktm the bike is just not there yet
pol he deserves that ..he has put in the hard yards/ donkey work on that bike he and zarco will get it near the front in a year or two
lorenzo to suzuki... probably a good move.. never thought a move to the duke was good for him if your style requires a good frontend why go to a bike that has turning problems ???? always thought he was doing a take the $$$$$ and run move with that deal ..... leaves the door open for miller to get the factory ducati seat next year .... he is outperforming his team mate who is also maybe up for the same ride ..... good on ya jack

MotoGP 2018 - Round 04 - Free Practice One (FP1) - Jerez is now LIVE STREAMING in BOTH 1080p (on MontrealSSD) and 720p (on MontrealSSD and Amsterdam)!

There will likely be no announcement before FP2 starts.

They killed the flash player again, just HTML5 player now, so no idea if the audio/video sync will drift out like it did last time they changed that.

Try and watch it live or after live on the live stream server! I'll leave the stream up until the next stream (i.e. todays stream will be FP1 + FP2 and will stay up until FP3, etc.). I won't be around to babysit it so hopefully the stream is way more stable than yesterday :(

All of the events this weekend will be live streamed.

Due to my work schedule I won't be able to upload ANY recorded files until maybe Sunday or worst case Tuesday.

Thanks a lot you John.

The servers worked alright until 5 PM (CST), since then non of the servers are streaming.
I saw FP1, still FP2 to watch, if you have a moment to resolve the trouble.

Thanks for all the great work you have been doing.

Have you considered having a backup support for the servers when you are not available? It would also help with your workload (I have no idea how you have been doing this alone) and get you a break sometimes.

They were actually streaming right until the end of FP2 but either the stream got corrupt or the audio video sync was so out that the player wouldn't play it anymore :( No fix for FP2 coming until Sunday or Tuesday, sorry.

Yeah, some help might be nice. I tried to hire my 11yr old cousin but she hit ctrl a, shift+delete on the local side (my computer) instead of the online server. Kids these days just don't understand DOS (or the linux command line) :(

Crutchlow had some pace today. Zarco is the top Yamaha again on a 2 y/o bike. What on earth is going on with the factory team?
 
crutchlow possibly honda... thats who Marquez said would make a great team.. not saying to get rid of Pedrosa tho
