MotoGP 2015

If you have followed MotoGP this year, you have successfully increased your chance of a heart attack by at least 50%. I can't take another 3 races, the suspense is too much!

Australia to come next!

Don't you people sleep? Or you staying up for the F1 race at 6:35am?? :D

Just past noon for me right now. The problem with being in Europe is that MotoGP coverage is everywhere. We were at the mall yesterday and they had the results of the Qualifying on a large display right in the food court. Spoilers everywhere you look!

Wow, couldn't have predicted that. Great race.

That just proved that Jorge CAN ride in the wet or less than ideal conditions. However, I think he suffers when the conditions are not consistent. Either a flag-to-flag race or the example of yesterday where the wet track started drying up. Rossi seems to manage these degrading grip conditions better than Jorge. Perhaps it's their riding styles?

Interesting that Lorenzo destroyed his front a lot more than Rossi.

Pedrosa has now had 2 solid performances in a row. Considering he almost retired and had career saving surgery, what he is doing in incredible.

Rossi has been leading the whole time, he doesn't need to risk anything. It's Lorenzo who has to take risks to catch up to him. Rossi played it smart from the begining, if he tried to stick with Lorenzo he would've risked crashing and losing all the points. If this was a race where Rossi absolutely had to win against Lorenzo, he would've followed Lorenzo to have a neck and neck race. I knew from the beginning when Lorenzo put a 3+ second gap that he would have tire problems in the end, just didn't think Rossi would be able to overtake him. But good for Rossi, he had a front tire problem too and risked a bit to pass him

Both Pedrosa and VR were going out of their line to hit the wet side of the track, Lorenzo is a one line man (can't adapt) so he never cooled off his tires as he kept on the dry line, go watch the last 10 laps and you will notice on the back straight VR going right on the track and JL staying ont he left (dry side of the track). Again, he can't adapt.

I know every time we have raced endurance in the rain this year and the track starts to dry up, we start hitting the puddles and the wet side of the straights.

Im not sure I follow Jorge's response in the post race conference about him having more bad luck than the others and thats why hes not ahead of Rossi. Like the posts above, Jorge can't adapt as quickly as Rossi. Part of being the best racer to me means being the best in all conditions. Not just when the conditions suit your style. So far Rossi definately has earned the first place standing over Lorenzo. Even if Lorenzo has more first place finishs. Good to see Pedrosa fighting for top spot....

I think this one decided the 2015 Championship. Will take some big drama for the order to change.

Can't believe the stupid announcers were talking like the race was all set and done with 15 laps left on a drying track!

I don't recall Pedrosa been so happy on the podium like yest...excellent first place well done Pedrosino!lol

I swear Pedrosa's the most unintentionally funny rider I've ever seen. His body language and facial expressions during the post race interview were killing me!

I am having a small change of heart. I'm beginning to think that Rossi might actually win the championship.

I still think Lorenzo is the favourite despite everything that has happened so far, but with only three races to go and Rossi still in the championship lead, time might be running out for Lorenzo. Rossi has been incredibly consistent this season (he's only been off the podium once). If he can keep that up, then it's his to lose.

As for Lorenzo's comment about luck, I only agree with him when it comes to those stupid helmet issues that influenced his race. Everything else is just racing.
