MotoGP 2015

I don't really understand what makes Lorenzo tick. As you said, when he is on his game, he is the fastest out there this season IMO. I don't think Rossi has really been in his head for quite sometime. Whatever gremlin is in Lorenzo's head is self-borne.

What would convince me to change my mind re: Lorenzo v Rossi is for Rossi to outqualify Lorenzo. Rossi immediately gets in trouble when Lorenzo outqualifies him since Lorenzo always has good starts when he is out front and pulls away almost immediately. Also, has Rossi beaten Lorenzo in a dog fight this year? I can't recall.

No good battles between them this year.

It has been very interesting to see MM and VR battle this year. Until this season I hadn't seen MM truly tested, normally he just checks out and rides by himself. His riding ability is phenomenal but his race craft is not there (yet).

JL has been around longer than MM but his race craft still doesn't hold up against VR. In a dog fight with either MM or JL if they're both running the same pace, my money is on VR.

It was good to see Jack Miller up front battling with his teammate lol

Crutchlow said after the event, 'Jack is young, he was near to the front in a MotoGP race and made an ambitious move.'
Sounds like another familiar quote.

OH DAMN!! Thx so much. Anyone know if they have an explosive rating of 1.4G? I'm still banned for another 4 years or so, no fireworks for me :( I sent em an e-mail to find out.

The thing between MM and VR is that both times they battled for the lead, neither ended due to a clean pass from VR. I'm not saying his wins were not warranted, but I guess I just want to see VR win with a clean dog fight. I suppose though this could give credence to your point.

I'd like to see a good ol' fashioned fight between VR and JL. If that were to happen and VR were to win, then I think JL's mind will start to get polluted with some fear. In the meantime, it's more of a 'comedy of errors' for JL which likely leads to nothing more than frustration. Despite all this, he's still won the most races this year.

Should be an interesting conclusion to the season. I do hope Rossi pulls through. If there are any doubts of he being the best ever, a championship this season would end the discussion full-stop.

By the way, you gotta give love to Petrucci and Pramac. Best result from the team in a long time, and first podium for Petrucci. He's a solid racer.

I'm interested in where these unclean Rossi passes came from. His pass in Argentina into the Turn 5 hairpin was a clean pass, Rossi out braked him, then Marquez bumped him a bit trying to squeeze by on the inside; Marquez then ran into the back of him trying to push up beside him into the left hander, clipped his rear wheel and crashed. In Assen Rossi's pass was clean when he passed Marquez with 2 and a half laps to go, Marquez attacked from way back and knocked Rossi off the track into the final chichane. Both times their battles for the lead were ended by Marquez being too aggressive trying to get back in front

I never said VR was at fault. I just said they were not clean. I just wished neither ended that way.

So how many of you think it's going to come down to the last race to decide the championship? I predict JL is ****** and comes back next race with a win just to keep it interesting.

Anything can happen at this point. And that's a good thing.

So with redding going to Pramac who is leaving? Rabat is taking the VDS MotoGP ride? What will Zarco be doing?

Also, nice to finally see mini Marquez up at the front. I thought he'd be there right from the start but guess he took some time to get used to the new bike. He and Rins should have a good battle for the title next year.

As a long time snowmobiler it has always amazed me at the crude efforts made by the top motorcycle race teams at anti fog face shields. BTW HJC has one of the best electric face shields on the market for sleds. I do not think that it would be too hard to adapt to the bike helmet.

Yonny Hernandez is going to Avintia, with that team likely running GP14.2s

Redding is going to Pramac, with Petrucci to be his teammate (?)

I suppose Rabat will go to MarcVDS MotoGP, but this one is interesting because LCR is intent on only running one rider. It will likely be Cal Crutchlow, with Jack Miller being moved. But if it's Miller that stays at LCR, Crutchlow might find himself on the MarcVDS machine, all at the request/demand of Honda.

If Zarco moves up, I don't see any room for him on any current factory team. He might end up on a current open team, but I am not sure where. With Forward Racing having some issues, it remains to be seen whether they will be on the grid next season.

HJC motorcycle helmets have the pinlock system which is supposed to avoid fogging but clearly he either didn't use it or it didn't work. I have raced in the rain with my HJC FG-17 and it never fogged on me once and I didn't even have the pinlock or the breathe guard in.

They said in the broadcast Rabat would be bumping up to MarcVDS MotoGP team. Cal has already signed on again for 1 year + 1 year extension option with LCR Honda so he would be the main rider there.

From what i've read, it was HJC who advised Lorenzo that he didn't need the breathe guard or the Pinlock and the anti fog will be enough. Sounds ridiculous.

Also, rumor has it that Lorenzo might be headed back to the Nolan/Xlite camp after his contract is done with HJC.

This post is bang on. That's not the Rossi Kool-Aid talking, either... just because there is contact after Rossi has a pass made doesn't mean he didn't do it cleanly, especially if he is on the inside line. Marquez is just trying to fight back. What MM needs to do is stop obsessing with beating VR for a little bit, and stop crashing in close proximity to him. That is starting to get me worked up during the race. If Marquez were to take Rossi out at this point in the Championship, it just might make him the most hated rider in all of Motorcycling for a very very long time.
