MotoGP 2015

I wouldn't write off Marquez just yet...but it'll be no cakewalk like last year now that Yamaha's bike has improved. Not to mention Jorge's current dominance...makin' it look easy.

Well dovi and inonne on the duc's are doing good. Making MM actually fight.

Exactly, people also wrote off Lorenzo in 2013 and he almost won it back in the last few races of the year.
I like MM but I am hoping for VR this season, as long as the catfish doesn't win it

hahaha. Rossi can't continue to qualify on the 3rd row every race weekend if he plans to keep his points lead.

The way Jorge's lookin', he might just walk away with it this year. He's now been constantly at the top(or near) in every FP, QP and of course Race day. Heartbreak for you bud.
And also, what is it that you hate about this guy? I find in Social Media amongst other places that Jorge is just universally hated more than all other riders. If anyone hasn't noticed, this guy is less obnoxious these days and alot more humble.

I personally find his riding style the most pleasing to watch, and his interviews I can appreciate cuz he doesn't really sugar coat. At least the stuff he says isn't yer typical PR babble.

lol - He started the race in 13th and by end of lap 2 i think he was in second, how is that not performing under "must do".
The crash was mostly due to the wrong tire choice, him and crutchlow both in hondas, both with the hard front crashed.

What I mean is he is like Bubba Stewart, he causes himself to crash on a very frequent basis when faced with certain circumstances. Also, if you look at that entrance to Turn 1, he just about went bowling and took out 25% of the field. We would be having a different conversation if that did happen, obviously.

and the "Must do" was him winning, to maximize on points.. but instead he low sided fighting with AI. His job wasn't done yet, it was just getting started when he crashed... although obviously anyone can admit that start was amazing.

Look at every fight Marquez has been in this year, and even dating back farther... he crashes a lot.

Nice catfish pic, though. :D

Regardless, they are all incredible riders, even the guy that is always last is way above and beyond anyone we will ever know.

The problem is not with MM but with Honda, engine and chassis issues I believe. He couldn't find the rear end feeling especially in corner entry. Last year MM created the rear sliding but this year his bike did it itself and he actually tried to prevent it from happening.

I think in general Honda isn't a very pleasant bike to ride, both in MotoGP and WSBK. MM and J. Rea just made it look easy to ride that bike last year. Pretty sure Crutchlow is kicking himself now, should have stayed with the Ducati.

That's the problem....he wasn't all that personable a few years ago, so it stuck.

Good thing you added that! Haha

Cannot count MM out this early in the season! Anything can happen in this sport....
Also I hope for VR to win the championship but he needs to qualify better (been two seasons so far and he can't figure it out) drives me nuts!
I'm a JL fan, yeah he's been weird and obnoxious in interviews especially in the past but he's more personable than say Casey Stoner ever was IMO. Also he's been real nice to fans from what I've seen and experienced first hand. He also believes heavily in hard work and positive motivation per his social media posts which I admire.
Anyways very happy the battle thus far is close and there's more than two manufacturers hunting for wins.

I'd also like to see him triumph but the count down is in full swing based on age alone. He's past his prime, still better than most. It seemed in the past he could always dig for a little more if needed. Maybe he still can but isn't willing to. With his accomplishments so far it would be a shame to close out a career like Wayne Rainey or win another championship like Kevin Shwantz. .02

Will it happen? Probably not. Would it be awesome if it did? Hell yeah.

Mostly I would just like to see him beat Ago's wins record.

Yeah, right there with ya.

You still see moments of vintage Rossi here and there...but age is catching up. Still absolutely amazing that he's been racing at such a high level for 2 decades. Especially with the changes and types of bikes he's ridden throughout his career.

his race pace is phenomenal especially for his age, and qualifying better / better starts will definitely give him a better chance to win, but if Lorenzo keeps up the way he has, I don't think anyone can touch him until he falls back to earth. I'm a fan of both Lorenzo and Rossi, so as long as either one of them win the championship I'll be happy; my heart says Rossi but my brain says Lorenzo.
