Who is dissing Marquez? No doubt he's going to win the championship, and thoroughly deserves it, but I'm pretty sure alot of people are happy with the result of this race.
 
Great race from the get-go, I'm glad he won because he was the better rider. If he can continue to qualify as such, he can still be a threat IMO.

Agreed. But, it still would have been cool to see how a VR/MM would have been to the end. The announcers were saying MM fell because of pressure to keep up. I'm not sure I agree with that.

He fell on high lean on a slippery curb. He has no pressure with his points lead. Yamaha has found the speed differential to Honda, so the rest of this season is going to be awesome.
No one gets a crowd response like Rossi, even Marquez in Spain doesn't get the response Rossi got in Misano. There must have been 75,000 people at the podium.
And in our puckhead America Jr. country, we can't even watch it on TV.

"Until now it was pushing all the race, 100%. Now I will try to change a little bit the mentality, and try to close the championship as much as possible."

Like last year, I think he's going to play it safe for the rest of the season. He literally needs podium finishes to wrap this all up. But with MM's luck, you never know... the championship might still be available at Valencia.

I'm wondering despite how he is during interviews if he rides angry? He was all over the track after going down. Could be tires giving out on him or just coincidence but there was a whole lot of wiggle going on into several corners after...
 
Marc VDS will move to MotoGP in 2015, with Scott Redding returning to Marc VDS Racing (news from MotoGP.com, no article/link yet)

yea. with practice, qualifying, warmup and races… that's A LOT of crashed bikes with Bautista.
