Motogp 2013

So you'd be okay with setting a precedent that Race Direction won't enforce its own rules?

In this situation... yes.

Besides, this just taints the 2013 CShip for Jorge if he actually wins it...

Marquez runs into Lorenzo in spain, no penalty.
Marquez almost kills a few track workers in britain, no penalty.
Marquez runs into Pedrosa in Spain causing his crash, no penalty.

Marquez comes in 1 lap too late to switch his tires, Disqualified.

Still seem like a fair penalty?

Why wouldn't they say that if that was what happened? That would make a great story.
Because perhaps they don't know and can't make such accusations, either way they don't know.

Do you know how many Religious Gay man are married with children... completely out of topic!

The incident in Britain and Spain w/ Pedrosa have awarded MM the 3 penalty points he has, which is more than some people already believe is just. One more puts him in the back of the pack for the next race. It was a predetermined and stipulated penalty for breaking the rule, not one imposed after reviewing the incident. He ran the extra lap on tires not fit for it (which video has already shown), so he faces the black flag. And while the rule may have, arguably, been unclear, the penalty for breaking it was not

Besides, every other team was running the same race on the same tires and on the same track, all playing by the same rules. Honda/Marquez screwed up one way or another.

Nakamoto was ****** and not with Marquez.

After all the talk about the Marquez spin move during the stop I was surprised to hear that Hayden gained about a second over everyone with his stop.

Surprised as I was, probably because they hardly showed the Ducati's during the race. Hayden I think gained 3 spots from his impressive pit change.

Which video shows the Hayden bike swap? I don't think I saw it during the race, curious to see it.

I haven't seen one, just read about it and the fact he moved up the spots.

Also what about this drama, any info if either rider (Espargaro or Hernandez) got disciplinary action? :

Edit: not sure if those GIF's worked, apologies if they didn't.

Edit #2 hope this one worked.

Arguably? Never at any point did they say the riders would be black flagged for going outside the pit window.

Yeah, foot in mouth - I'm certain I read somewhere legitimate that the established consequence was black flag, but I can't find it again. Was late, was not sober :P

If everybody was supposed to come together and get through an unfortunate turn of events (this includes the race teams, that was allot of stress thrown at the race teams, it is stressful enough all ready) then that is not the feeling that I came away with, there was plenty of drama without the DQ. That just seemed to be a tad much.

Maybe they should have at least let him finish the race and take a few more minutes to give it some more serious though? At least they would have had the option, now they have nothing.

How come no-one in charge said "wait a minute here fella's let them continue while we think on this a little more..."

A black and white approach from a really grey weekend... not one of it's fine days...

And who cares what the pro pit stop in mc racing people think, they don't matter. :D

I think the black flag was shown on lap 14, so a decision was made within 4 minutes, not even enough time for someone at Honda to make their case heard to the race officials.

4 min is enough time for the Yamaha racing team manager to run to Race Direction ;)

Another interesting point early on in the race, both JL and MM's pit board were showing the same lap to pit in at.

I don't even care what happened, speculation or not. It was quite enjoyable to watch regardless and glad I downloaded it before He who must not be named was banned for the umpteenth time.

That's what I was saying earlier on lol
Glad you found a picture :)

Sure, but they also owe something to the major stakeholders in this expensive party...

I can just imagine being one of those Aussie spectators, camping out the whole weekend and getting ready for an afternoon of drinking and watching racing, and for the race to be finished by the second beer. I think Stoner was on track Sunday longer than MM. Not a g'day mate.
