I sure wouldn't want to be a security guard at the door. Ii would think that there will be a lot of hard and softcore antivaxxers in the attendees who are just itching for a fight. Many probably aren't even interested in motorcycles but just being crap disturbers.
I'm on the fence about going. Not so much worried about contracting COVID, but I expect it will be a long line/wait and a hassle just to enter. At the same time I DESPERATELY want to go do something that I really enjoyed.
And Hack, I don't see you as a GTAM Site Supporter, but why should you give this place even $10, they have the privilege
of having you come here and post.
I can't remember if it was 25% or 30% off across the board at GP bikes, but that was on everything, special orders included.
Yes that's about right. Most bike shops selling gear and parts, only get around 35% off the retail price from distributors. So if an item sells for $100, the shop pays around $65 for it.It’s usually 15% - just enough to cover the tax.
Forgot hydro etc probably closer to 60k a month just to open the doorsTo give some of those a sense of what it costs to run a business:
My friend went to see the old Princess Auto location in Whitby, for a non-motorcycle related business. Location is OK, but not really a high traffic area, like maybe hwy 2 in Whitby. The rent was $38,000 a month. So you need to make $38,000 in "profit" every month just to pay your rent.
