Most Scenic Riding Spots

lol I really, really do. Any suggestions for roads with a lot of bends?
depends how long you want to ride for but your best bet is to join a group ride that fits your riding style (new, fast, cruising etc..) and join up.

anyways back to the pics...

Yeah The Gillies HIghway 19 KM - 200 curves ( one of 4 range roads in the area. ) All are 8-19 KM with great pavement and wicked curves the short one has 10% grades in some areas. Called the Rex.
Just got back.

Here's the Gillies the way it should be :D

One nasty bit is there are some tar snakes that heat up and go super slick in the sun.

Nothing like it I know of in Ontario but some in PA we've had sweet rides in the twisties but the Gillies makes you work especially downhill.

Beautiful pictures. However, you guys posting pictures of out west aren't playing fair (LOL).

It's refreshing to find other riders who seek out beautiful scenery in their rides. In my mind, if a road has the most beautiful curves but no scenery, then the picture is lacking.

Well my pics are half a planet away but there many great photos over in the cruising thread of roads around here especially in the fall. PA is lovely as is the whole Niagara Escarpment.

One is issue is getting photos on the tougher technical roads both on and offroad. Thats why I posted the Gillies video as no way I could portray it in stills but the views are grand as well out over the Pacific.
This is from the Rex - another of the range roads.

Lots here - scenery - jungle and highways.

Of course the west coast guys or trips have an advantage over comparatively dull Ontario :(

Whiteface is really cool BUT take that road with caution - first place I've been with serious whoops in the pavement. And depending on the time of year it can get mighty cool up top.

Lovely roads in the area but suggest not on a weekend as the area is just jammed.

heh heh just noticed the Whiteface pic is pretty close to the Gillies pic even tho half a planet away. Go figure.
