Most dangerous vehicle to bikers?

any kinds of SUV, minivan, pickup....those behind the wheels tend to drive without their brains...i usually stay away as far as possible...

If you cross the path of a submarine on your bike, you're probably in deep, deep, trouble.

no i gotta say truckers man.. pick ups of all sizes they all got a thing against bikers f***
i've seen so many trucks on the road just wanna hunt you down and s*** on you just cuz you're on a bike

it's like they're driving something big and fat and wanna over power you cuz they're jealous you're slim and fast, like ride like driver

Soccer moms driving BMW SUV's or an 16-18 yr old driving like an idiot in their parent's car.

any driver in the surrounding Brampton vicinity. Oh how I miss all those near misses just going less than a 1 km away from home to the local grocery store. Always an accident to avoid.

I'd say the worst vehicle is minivans, followed by SUVs... Except in Toronto where every vehicle seems to be driven by Helen Keller.

The worst are the little men with there big pick up trucks.........they are trying to compensate for something they are a little short on.

You may not like what I have to say but it was probably your fault. I never ride parallel to any vehicle, always in front of or behind and anticipate by glancing at his rear view mirror or front tires.

If you have no choice and are beside him, get close to his side vision so he knows your there, always ride somewhat erratic and not complacent.

Actually, your first objective should always be to maximize your line of sight, this may or may not mean getting closer to the vehicle depending on what's happening around you. And you never want to ride "erratic", quite the opposite, you want to be predictable to other traffic...

Taxi cabs will stop or u-turn anywhere and Yappers on cellphones regardless of what they drive aren't focussed. Personally I find the worst most unpredictable vehicles I have found are other bikes because of how quickly they can accelerate and manouver. Even checking constantly in the rear view can't seem to avoid occasionally not noticing some Riders coming up so fast that they surprise me. Then they lane share my lane zipping past like they have something to prove how great a Rider they are. I seem to get that at least a couple of times a year.

My list..

1. Distracted drivers of any vehicle. The ones you can tell are on a cellphone/doing makeup/trimming beard while driving.
2. Taxi's. My worst run in with one was when he left-turned in front of me, thinking that by just flashing his high-beams I would slow down and let him go through with him not realizing/caring that I can't slow down as fast as a car.

But my biggest beef on the road...other idiots on motorcycles. Happened just last night. Was in line on the lakeshore just by the ACC to get onto the gardiner on-ramp. Everyone's behaving themselves, and along comes some a**hat in a cruiser, who decided he could ride along the lakeshore and dip into the on-ramp lane at the last minute. So now he's ****** off all the cagers and I'm 2 cars behind, surrounded by a bunch of angry drivers who are ****** off at bikers in general. So thanks buddy.

Twice in the same number of days a pickup has pulled outfrom the left and not seen me and it’s not as if you can’t miss me, being brightorange and all that. First arsehole didn’t even see me after he’d finishedpulling into my lane, which ended with me hitting my non functioning horn button and shouting expletives (for my own benefit, since my visor was down!). Secondwas a lot faster and saw me at the last minute and had to tighten his turn somuch his tires smoked up causing a mini nuclear cloud.
So, do pickups havemajor blindspots or are all the drivers just plain wankers(UK)?

I drive a Chevy Silverado 1500. Yes, pick-ups have huge blindspots. That being said, because I am a biker I super hyper vigilant about motorcycles. When I ride, I ride under the impression that no one can see me and everyone is trying to kill me. I protect my space and am always ready to react.
