I've been out spending time with friends, family and riding. I just sat down after a whole day of enjoying myself. Sorry, not sorry.

And yet you know nothing about it, apparently, or certainly can't show where I don't. And again, you saying so doesn't make it true - because it isn't. I don't know what kind of game you think you're playing - all of this is right in the public discourse above. Your strawman and wookie arguments are meaningless drivel, and all you've done is show that you're desperate to appear to be some kind of authority on this subject - while failing to demonstrate anything like it.

Yes, people are really raging about this and need to chill out a bit.

Also, be very careful.......... I have it on good authority that government agents are monitoring this thread and are preparing to raid and take down dissenters.

Personally, I think the feds are exceeding their authority and we should rise up and ............... Sorry, someone is banging on my front door. I'll just answer it and I'll be right back..........................................................................................

Complaint substantiated — section 13​

53.‍1 If at the conclusion of an inquiry the member or panel conducting the inquiry finds that a complaint in relation to a discriminatory practice described in section 13 is substantiated, the member or panel may make one or more of only the following orders against the person found to be engaging or to have engaged in the discriminatory practice:​

  • (a) an order to cease the discriminatory practice and take measures, in consultation with the Commission on the general purposes of the measures, to redress the practice or to prevent the same or a similar practice from recurring;
  • (b) an order to pay compensation of not more than $20,000 to any victim identified in the communication that constituted the discriminatory practice, for any pain and suffering that the victim experienced as a result of that discriminatory practice, if that person created or developed, in whole or in part, the hate speech to which the complaint relates; or
  • (c) an order to pay a penalty of not more than $50,000 to the Receiver General, if the member or panel considers it appropriate having regard to the nature, circumstances, extent and gravity of the discriminatory practice, the wilfulness or intent of that person, any prior discriminatory practices that that person has engaged in and that person’s ability to pay the penalty.

Note that it says to "any victim." This could be easily hundreds of "victims" if the complaint is made on a public social media platform, and there is no compulsion to identify the complainant/s to the citizen nor do they have to justify any harms done to them by the accused.

It also opens up the obvious avenue of making money by finding people with "unacceptable views" and turning them in for a $20K payday for whoever feels compelled to make it their business.

Well, I'm back.

I was removed from my home and sent to a hellish re-education center in some god forsaken place. I think it was Scarborough.

I don't remember too much. I received some medication to calm me + some kind of therapy where they attached electrodes to my temples. I'm much better now and see the error of my ways. The error of my ways.

Everything the government does is for our own good, they know best, I see that now. I will vote Liberal in the next election. Everything is good.
