Mississauga ~ GP Bikes?

Point a. If everyone just go to local store to try for size and no one buys you wont have a local store to go to.
Point b. Its time wasters like you that drives up cost and ultimately prices in local retail store
And point c.
I dont know who John is and wont comment on how he is as a person but thats a lame reason to buy online unless youre going to tell me you know the owner of the online store personally.

And you are quoting me why?

There could be a deeper problem here. There are few options to guarantee fit of apparel when ordering online. In fact, not enough choices from the retailers in the GTA (perimeter plus). Online purchases that have to be sent back a few times because of incorrect fit, cancels out any good deals.

It's frustrating having to buy gear that doesn't suit ones needs because of limited choices. Motorcycle gear is expensive, and I'd like to shop somewhere that caters to trying merchandise on. That could be big, having an online business with 'try on outlets' near populated urban regions. Maybe GTAM should pull together the smart heads and create such an outlet?

Hey, how come this is in Rides/Hookups?

I've done this before...not proud of it but I had to. I tried it on, fit great...went to cash register...the guy gave me an invoice for the helmet that was $200 more than what it was marked. I tell him this and he says, that's an incorrect price tag, the system has proper prices. I show him online prices which are like $50 cheaper than the price tag....he says, it's America, shipping and duty will bring me up to his price (the computer price lol...$200 shipping/duty?). I walk out and order online, having already tried it, save a neat $50.

Shop name will not be mentioned....not interested in bashing stores, also...been there after and they're a lot better now.

Do GP Bikes deliver for free? I should have negotiated more. I ordered a Givi luggage with some accessories and they charged me 10$ to deliver it TO (600$ value). I made some research online and their prices were similar to eBay vendors. I received the package in about 3 business days. I was impressed.

I also shop online for an helmet but ended up buying it at Snow City on Kennedy road at a discounted price.

I bought a lot of non bike related items online, but I must admit that for my bike needs so far I've always find some local stores being competitive.
