I was flying at 14. It's no big deal and it isn't that hard to do. Not too much different than learning to drive standard. Easy to do if you have an aptitude for it.
I was driving alone at 12 and somehow survived.
 
no way this guy got killed over the truck he was prolly involved with the wrong crowd and was in deep with the wrong ppl

I was pondering on this article and it just doesn't add up. For a guy that was found with a body and a stolen truck on his property the media could have dug some dirt on him. They could have talked to his ex, friends or neighbours. No one's clean. Instead they posted his resume.

I was a little bit behind on the v-card thing, I was almost 19.

I was just lucky as a kid. I grew up on a farm and at times had to go a couple concessions down with the truck to get things from another section of the farm.
I met some people when I was 13 that have a private grass air strip and a couple Aeronca Champs (like a piper cub) and I had a huge interest in flying. They were part of the local flying club so that's how I got my foot hold in there. Young people pick things up faster, so learning to fly was pretty simple.

To those selling cars, a good tip would be to take / photo the drivers license of the individual wanting to test drive the car, and let them go by themselves. Its a safer option than jumping in the backseat and hoping for the best, especially if you are outnumbered.

What if they just published the info they found, without any agenda? You know, like good news agencies are supposed to do?

I hate it when people do that. I meet at my home because I consider that a small warranty that the deal is on the up and up.

Why don't you look up how lucrative it is to be a pilot and # of jobs available.
 
All I know is Westjet is the place to work, but getting in there is a *****. I don't know if you are saying it is hard to find work as a pilot, though, I assume that is what you mean. I'm sure you could find work, or start your own small charter service, or something, somewhere, either in this Country or another, no?
