Well I was in the market for replacement mirrors, and found them on the cheap through eBay. Wasn't expecting much, didn't get much.

The issues:
One mirror arrived dirty, scratched on the housing and with rust all over the threads on the bottom, but the other looked new. I said well for $20 no sense calling them.
Turns out the threading on these mirrors is about 2-3x as wide as my bike will take. Tried their included "adapter" and it was still about 1.5-2mm too wide for it.
Dremeled out the hole ever so slightly to get it to fit and installed the mirror on the bike. New problem. No matter how much I tighten the bolt (which I had to go buy at Home Depot) the mirror twists out of position. Awesome.
Saw their small print on the eBay ad that said some modification may or may not be required, but this is kind of ridiculous when you assure a customer of fitment.

Called Kapsco and they denied any knowledge of the eBay store or transaction, which I found very interesting:

All in all, pretty crappy experience, would not buy again.

Good to know, I was about to order a set from them

Spend the extra $10-$15 and buy the China mirrors that are made for your bike. Can't believe I just said that.

Their customer service is terrible just like their products! Bought a wheel balancer from them, the level cylinder came broken and fluid spilled all over. Emailed them a pic, they said they'd give me some money back for the product being damaged. Sent like 5 emails between different people there and never received any money back

Did you pay by PayPal? I'd be filing a fraud complaint ASAP, and with your credit card company as well. They REALLY hate "shell" companies.

I'm giving them a chance to offer me a refund first. Didn't pay through CC unfortunately. Do you think that's enough evidence to prove it's them?

I'm sure Paypal (and your CC company if you had paid by CC) will request the name and billing address for the ebay/canada post shipping account. If it comes back to the same owner of Kapscomoto then I think it's pretty solid.

If they don't refund you I'm VERY confident that PayPal will. Keep a copy of all communication with them, do it by email, not phone, when possible.

I wont ever deal with kapscomoto ever again ... they're products are garbage .... I ordered mirrors too a while back .. the bolts were too long so the nuts wouldn't tighten properly ... and their motorcycle stands are just as bad lol.

Weird, I bought a bike cover, rear tail lights and licence plate lights from them in person. For the last two seasons everything has been working so far.

I bought 3 stands from them (in person), all are great. Getting good service was like pulling teeth though.

Wow. So you all bought cheap **** and it failed. Amazing innit?

Only thing I ever bought was their $20 flush mount signals, and they worked fine. Thankfully.

I guess its true, you do get what you pay for. However, false advertising is never fair to the consumer.

I bought a boat cover via ebay from a company definitely not identified as kapsco, got a shipping notification from kapsco.

I buy stuff from them in person, customer support is perfect great guy working behind the counter.

If you can try to visit them in person? I don't know.

bought 2 sets of mirrors from kapsco. I think they were 10 bux each. Would recommend buying in store because the first set ... when she took it out of the box to show me, the mirror was all cracked up. That might have been the one they would have sent me if i ordered online.

For the most part, they are terrible quality but I expected that since I planned on dropping my bike. Mirrors did what i expected for the price I paid. Customer service at their store was nice too.

TLDR; get what you pay for and dont buy from their online store/ebay. if you want cheap stuff, go to their store front

Its Chris, Owner/Founder KapscoMoto. I don’t usually respond to other peoples threads because with every business there will positive and negative experiences. I do, however, feel the need to clarify the suspicion that KapscoMoto is selling online under different names. We have grown over the years where now we drop ship for a number of online companies, including PsychoMoto. They are our official resellers of our products making commission. It is our products, they sell them, we ship them, and if customer service isn't good over there, we will process any request no matter where you bought it from. You may see other companies on eBay, Amazon, Buy.com, Websites, even in store that carry our products or drop ship.

To address “Macs” initial thread, PM me with your phone number and I will personally call you to resolve your concern

We are open who we are, you can see all our staff here: https://www.kapscomoto.com/aboutus.asp

Thanks,
Chris

Can you also clarify why negative reviews disappear off your web page?
