Hey all,

After about a decade of wanting to get my license, I finally bit the bullet and got my M1 a few weeks ago. I just passed my M1 exit course at Sheridan and plan to be at the ministry on the 60th day for my M2.

Already picked up my riding gear. I thought I needed it for the course, but it turns out I could have gotten by without it (long story, but Sheridan would have supplied some apparel). But I'm glad I have MY stuff and learned to get comfortable on a bike with MY equipment.

So now it's time for me to find a bike... the one pictured is a little too small for me. It's the Sheridan training bike.

welcome...i too just got my m2 on may 16 and ride a kawasaki vulcan 500...i'm off for the summer so if you want to hook up, send me a pm...i live at savoline and derry road area...
 
Thanks guys. I'll definitely check out some meet-n-greets in the area, that is, once I get a bike. If anyone cares, I've been recommended an SV650 (both by friends and indirectly through this forum) as a great starter/intermediate bike... We'll see what pans out.
 
I'm in Milton as well. If you're looking for some rides on the weekend let me know as I try to plan at least one decent day ride a month with other riders.
