Mid pipe connector

Your X cannot be much different than my FA. Hindle has all the clamps you need Using the springs hooks. Is your slip on secured tight to its hanger or loosely supported. It has to be secured to stop any movement. In 2016 when I purchased a slip on for the CB500FA and installed I have not been back to that area again. Something just is not right with your transition piece.

Looks like he's installing a Coffman. They're very short, and I don't think there's a hanger clamp on it.

@DoubleJ I will check thanks ? the exhaust is secure on the rear peg, just the vibrations will shake it loose, so the entire thing shifts slightly backwards

@Gary no no I'm not doing a coffman, I just checked the size to see what the inner is.

My bad!
If you can't find what you need online, definitly hit up a muffler shop. I've found most of the employees like bikes. I had a ~1' mid pipe made / bent / flared (gsxr) and dude didn't want anything. He settled for a coffee.

Use this type of clamp.
+1 for cutting a couple of slots and clamping it down. Could still use an exhaust gasket too. My old Honda did.
