medical insurance for wera

So he said 250k coverage. Helicopter ride is 20k. You'd need some pretty intensive emergency surgery to eat up 230k In medical bills. I still think I'd be comfortable with that. So will that insurance cover road racing/track days then?

A friend of mine crashed at deal's gap two years ago.

Broken collar bone, shoulder blade, 5 ribs and plateau fracture to the tib/fib.

$18,000 helicopter ride to the UT Medical Center then a 10 day stay. Only then was he stable enough to be Medi-vac'd back to Newfoundland. His insurance covered the $130,000+ bill. No surgery.

130 grand with no surgery eh. But there's so many good tracks in the states!!!! This sucks. Someone needs to talk an insurance company into doing this. Even if the price is a grand or two for the season I think itd be well worth it if you were doing a handfull of days a year down there

I don't believe the CMA coverage is applicable for trackdays, as I believe they require you to provide the Sanctioning body information at time of purchase.

How long ago did the Lakeridge option dry up?
