Popular spots on the 403 between 401 and QEW are sometimes on the left especially that big sweeper coming off the 401 fast lane. There is a tuck in the guard rail there ...no way are you going to see the car.

I cooked up a serious feast on my grill today, ribs, sausage, chicken and potatos. I was going to save the leftovers but I've decided to ride out later and feed the homeless. I'll don my cape and helmet that I made my self and crank over my street fighter that I built in my moms basement, its also powered by charcoal, ride into the night with leftovers tucked in my pants to stay warm.

I saw that, too, but at the time that I saw the incident, a black bike was on its side in the back of a pickup truck (not a tow truck), the other black bike (cbr600?) was parked at the side of the road. Odd.
You're right about Ching north of Bovaird. Cops are either in the driveway on the east side north of Bovaird or on a side street on the west side with their laser set up. And there's a cop shop at the high school at Sandalwood, so they are always cruising around. And it's a 60 zone even though most of the other similar streets are 70 zones.
If you come ripping over the Bovaird railway bridge (and I hear you doing it) ... I've seen the popo sitting at the intersection at the bottom with laser pointed up the bridge, and in that paved area on the south side of Bovaird just east of Mississauga Road.
No tickets here. But the clueless driver was out in full effect this weekend.
1. Oblivious right turn x2. I had to swerve to avoid - once on my bike, and once in my car.
2. I was crossing a street and a car almost hit me making a left. Apparently, she had the right of way, because she was angry that I gave her the finger.
3. I was on 400 south in the left most lane. Pace is 100ish. Driver makes a dangerous lane change into the left most lane (not really enough space) doing 80....hard brakes, a hope that I don't get hit from behind, and a minor 'pit in your stomach' feeling later, I was ok.

two friends of mine are TPS and they ride blacked out sportbikes off duty, and give me thumbs up when i wheelie past them at times as they sit in their patrol area actually looking for real crime....i hate the system not cops, cops are people forced to do what they are told to just to not to loose their jobs, very few good cops out there but most rather use the powers of the law agaisnt every citizen and see them suffer because they have no moral etchics themselves. like i said the good cop is simply a good person, and they the system likes to hire the type that will do what they want when they want with no soul, no moral etchics, its like what socrates said, no real virtuas man would indulge in the gornment and its politics as such a man has lost his soul and virtue. And most civilians are not that great anyways, so it makes things that much more complicated, either way you look at it decent people get the long end of the stick. the whole system will collapse very soon.

This is not news, the OPP have been using this tactic for decades. I was stopped between Cobourg and Port Hope over a dozen years ago by a LEO who was parked right up against the center wall. What ****** me off was that I was in the slow lane and had just been passed like I was sitting still by two Asian tour busses. I asked him why he targeted me and didn’t stop them? That’s probably why he got so hostile with me.
The real kicker was that he had to dodge traffic running back and forth between his curser and our car parked on the right shoulder. I thought he was going to get killed a couple of times as people were doing well over a buck twenty. I understand being a COP can be dangerous but to risk your life for a bogus ticket made no sense.
This brings up another one of my pet peeves. Have any of you ever seen a highway bus stopped for speeding, improper lane change, anything other than a breakdown???? I never have.
I have friends who drive buses who have indicated to me that it’s an unwritten rule to give transit vehicles a free ride within reason.

Was on hwy 7 headed west towards kaladar in a line of traffic. OPP coming the other way thinks he's smart, and I watch him in my mirrors turn on to another road and then back out to follow my direction, catches up to the cars behind me. I'm pretty sure he was waiting to catch me pop out of traffic and pass, but 20 mins later he gave up, pulled off and turned around again. Then I sped up to cruise speed lol.
Was at a big intersection in Ottawa one with a left turn light. Turning left, car in front. Light goes green and we start to move. I checked the oncoming traffic, guy punches it to beat us across the intersection, swerves to miss the car in front of me. No idea why he did it since we weren't slow to move. Awesome part was the Ottawa squad car directly behind him when he did it. Instant Karma!
Saw an Ottawa police biker Run himself up on to the curb in a round about while shoulder checking to merge... Pretty funny!
