Markham area riders

Just got back... the ride was awesome. The route was amazing... next time I am getting a GoPro for this route.

Sorry simcoe19 we were gone by 9.30 and I have no cell phone to check on the forum. This ride/route will be definitely repeated next year.

So far all the meets are random... we could make it weekly though...I'm up for that, any suggestions?

BTW.... according to the weather channel, tonight might be the last decent night for the next few days....anyone up for a ride?
 
If it's a small group and a ride at the meet i'm up for it. If the group gets too big it's not much fun.

Most group rides I've been on from this thread are under 6...the last few have been 3-4.

Now.

The weather channel calls for a sunny Sunday. Anyone wanna plan something?

Always seem to be leaving for California when there is a meetup. If there is a meetup I would come out just to meet some of the Markham riders this Sunday then catch a plane in the afternoon. Let me know where the meetup is.
 
I'm thinking about it. No details posted though.
 
Meet me at 48 and major mac at the esso.... thinking bout heading out west to meet some others. Heading out now!
 
Forget the rain...I almost had my first fall because of the wind. I found myself loosing the bike under me...felt like I was leaning up to 45 degrees at times, and then one big gust of wind started pushing the bike to the gravel shoulder while I'm doing about 90. I managed to control the bike to a full stop. Got lucky there I guess...

I guess I'm to inexperienced for high wind riding?
 
I was having the same thing happen to me while going S/B Jane to get Major Mac.

Very windy today.

Didn't see anyone at the Esso.

Didn't anyone show up?

Got caught in the rain @ Hwy#27 north of King Rd.

Cold & wet. :(
