hey all. I was out rockclimbing all day in milton, but i am up for a quick ride mon morning if anyone else is interested ? let me know. too bad i missed this ride, i do not log in as much as i used to, and when i do its too late.

man i am so glad it didn't go down i seriously thought it was u saved it big time

hey John we had a great ride but could have used a pro like you leading us.
 
Sorry fellas. I'm SOOOOO behind on blogging that I didn't take as many pix as I usually do...

And can't get Firefox to interact with the attachment function on this board. IE isn't cooperating either on attachments, but it seems to be allowing me to insert images using links to ones I put on FB.

If this doesn't work, I've included the links to the FB pix under each pic link

We definitely have to do another ride to Elephant Lake Road before the summer is over. Hopefully by that time the gravel on #507 will have been removed. That was a close call!!!

Heh. The links to the ones on FB work -- but the pix didn't show up in the msg I posted here, which was my expectation. When I click on the attachment icon, nothing at all happens in Firefox. When I click on it in IE, I get an "error on page" msg. And when I click on the Attach Files link below in the Additional Options section on the bottom of the page, it asks me to paste in the URL of a location where the image lives. I'd have thought that would put an image IN the message, but apparently not. You'd think with my web experience I could figure out why my browsers aren't playing well with the GTAM site! I know this dates me, but I miss the days of a command line interface. :-P

Absolutely! I had a fantastic ride home on Monday. I had no traffic at all on elephant and I swung up around 118 to 3 then back to Gooderham for the 507. No traffic, no po-po and a hell of a ride :) Gotta do it again soon!

We intend to do another ride back to Elephant Lake Road within a month. Keep your eyes on this thread. Everyone welcome.
 
Banger is doing a bike meet/get together at Lone Star, Yonge and Carrville (16th Avenue) this Thursday August 7th at 8:00 pm. See her post in the Rides thread.

I used to go there and the ribs /fajitas are great. I am definitely going there. Anybody coming with me ???
