Making a claim when you're pretty sure you're not at fault

Had this happen once, same outcome, left turning vehicle was at fault except I also had a video where they admitted turning left into the (right) 2nd lane instead of the (left) 1st lane.

Yup, my claim has been filed. The adjustor confirmed that the other driver is marked as holding 100% at-fault in the incident. Just waiting now on the official repair estimate to see if my vehicle will be a total loss.

Those $20 dashcams a few posts ago look like a great investment.

Get one for the back window as well.

My dashcam is good enough to lay blame but its eyesight isn't great at plate numbers from a distance. Lots of pixels through a cheap lens is a serious trade off. Hit / run etc FWIW.

P.S. If any cop wants to enhance his ticket rate just sit at any intersection and slam people for sloppy turns. They'd be like squirrels come to a bag of peanuts.
